Your great and powerful dragon mistress has been captured and needs to be rescued. You are but one of her small servants, and armed with draconic power must fight your way to her. All the monsters will try to devour you, but not if you can devour them first! Can you gulp the beasts and save the dragon in distress? Monster Nomster is currently still under development and more content will be added or changed over time.
KNOWN GAME ISSUE READ BEFORE PLAYING!
When fishing at the lake you will need to fish 3 times to either get the portal or boss to show up. The prompt disappears but just press F (or A on controller) near where the lake bulges out to the left most point. You also need to be empty to fish.

A Vore-like action shooter. Level up and gain perks by devouring your foes. Gain dragon breath weapons to blast them with. If you fall in battle and are swallowed, you can reform to continue the fight. Beware, reformations are scarce and hard to replenish. Replenish your hunger from foes, or from fishing. Meet a merchant who will sell you useful things. Meet friendly visitors who will grant you a boon, sometimes at the cost of eating you and using a reformation, and sometimes will willingly offer themselves to your cause.
Defeat the flame drake or lake serpent boss to unlock the gallery of gulps, where you gain access to all the vore animations in the game.
The game is still in development and more content is planned to be released. More zones, monsters, breath weapons, perks, visitors, fish and items. More, More, MORE!
If you just want to casually go through it, there is a cheat code for infinite reformations hidden in the game.
CHEAT CODE SPOILER
Press the number 8 8 times until you hear a low belch, and you will then have infinite reformations.As this is the initial early access release, there will be bugs and some fixes needed. Please feel free to let me know if you find any, as well as any feedback or suggestions you have.
Currently there is an android version of the game but that will be going away with the next major update. I highly recommend playing the game on a PC or laptop if possible.

Other fixes and changes
Main menu & settings size increased for most stuff for better android access.
Can now pause the game while the player can't move such as while dodging or gulping.
Enemies will now all be deleted when going through a stage end portal, so you'll be safe in the post level area if enemies got out of bounds, or you waited for the portal.
Mist missiles delete when out of frame to help with lag, also its damage slightly lowered.
Internal struggle minigame can now be skipped by pressing digest. You will still gain any shield points earned from the game, and this should prevent the stuck in a belly bug.
Acid Artillery belly shot AOE leaves a large pool, and the initial splash hits a wider area.
The Lake Serpent boss gulping Kram has been added to the gallery of gulps.
The Flame drake fire spouts and projectiles now have a similar red/white color for the main body of the shots/trap to see what to avoid. Also, some flame drake hard lock bugs while eating the player have (hopefully) been fixed.
Game should no longer freeze when selecting visitor encounters (This was caused by having two Larwin encounters during the same run.)

Hi all you Nomsters! Just wanted to share a quick update on the game status. Progress is coming along pretty well. I’ve got 6 new monsters all done (apart from balancing difficulty) As well as 6 new boss perks you can get as a reward for devouring the zone 1 bosses. The image here is Slenko, one of the new enemy types which I think turned out really good.
Next up is adding and animating some new perks, higher level cap, some visitor encounters and then a boss for zone 2. Once that’s all done should be ready to play, I hope.
I’m feeling pretty good about the game work as a whole even though it is slow going. Thanks everyone for your patience and praise for Monster Nomster.

Can you tell me how many percent of the second world is completed? Sometimes tell us how much percent of the second world is completed so that we can prepare Kram for his favorite activity, and that's eating enemies! We have to feed him!
I’d say about 75% complete. All normal enemies are done but need difficulty balancing, 2 new visitor encounters are done. Need to do 2 more visitors, and a boss. The boss will definitely take the longest since I haven’t even started on that. Today though I’m working on animating visitor #3.

Hi, I’m not really an expert on android, but what worked for me is you will need to manually access your phones files which means you might need to install some sort of file explorer app, and then you should be able to install it. Some phones might have a hissy fit for trying to install a non-trusted or non-official app but I don’t know for sure. Good luck!
Already tried that, i can't because the game isn't compatible for older devices, mine is android 6.0.1
Well, the game runs pretty poorly on a modern phone like the one I have, so an older phone might struggle badly. I have no idea how to install on older android 6. The game is made with gDevelop, so you could look with them if there is a way to do it etc. Next version won’t be having an android release as I’ve decided it’s best for me and my game to not develop for phones in the future.
um I found a big bug when I started, I got the basic all-rounder and when I went to my first encounter, I got another being fire breath wat srry I took the pic after the event happened

It's a pretty fun game and it's a lot easier on controller. And I have a few ideas you might like. one idea is that your character can grow in size as the story progresses, Credits carry over, your ability to carry over.
Thank you! I like the growth idea, but the amount of animation involved to permanently change the MC would be an unfeasible amount of new animations to do. replacing basically everything. So no dice on that one.

I might do some sort of persistent progression but not exactly sure how to implement it. On the to do list is making a home village hub area that you get sent to between runs.
..I think I found a softlock with the 1st area's boss..?
I apparently caught a jumbo fish.. idk how I activate a boss instead, unless it bugged out and im unable to activate the boss.. or it's a different area altogether.

Really fun game and i'm eager to see the new enemies. Especially adored the Dodge Animations with a full belly. Any plans for increasing stomach capacity?
Thank you! That is something I want to do eventually, but there is a lot of other stuff that takes priority first, mostly the main content.
1st, how do i load? 2nd, can you add a play button
For windows, first make sure you have the correct one downloaded. Then you will need to extract the file onto your computer with a program such as winrar. Once the file is extracted run The Monster Nomster Application icon, it should look like either a blue G or the face of Kram. Once in game be sure to click the settings button because often the sound and music default to 0 for some reason. Also, I can’t have the game play on the website here because it is too large.
I commented for the fact I am on phone, I don't know how to launch a game from files, I don't trust downloading game files, not saying yours is, but I don't trust downloading potentially random dangerous files on my phone, I much prefer it have a play button, also I learned this game throw garo on yt, I asume u know his channel as (presumably) you made a comment on one of his videos of this game, I'd love to play, the only device I got is a phone which is what I am on, I like the game based of what I have seen and want to play badly!
Sorry but I’m going to be discontinuing support for the game on android as it just isn’t working very well on phones. I can understand your hesitation. I assure you that I haven’t put anything malicious in my game. Heck I wouldn’t even know how to do that. I’ve left up the current android version but when the next major update comes out, I will be removing the android files. I know many people don’t have PC’s but it’s just a decision I’ve had to make for the game development. Thanks for your interest and I hope you can get it to work or get a pc or laptop to play it on some day.
got stuck in the raptor visitor room, been waiting but no portal, in case relevant i chose the fish than be eaten in case it was that
So fishing spot at all 3 fishing options (normal/peliptor/serpent boss) works but you need to go to the left of the part where the lake bulges out the most and the F/A prompt will pop up. You need to fish 3 times before the portal or serpent boss show up. I know about this problem and sparkles will show up to indicate the spot in the next update. Sorry about that.

32 bit working ?
The Engine I use to make the game gDevelop, I don’t believe has an exporting option for 32 bit. I could be mistaken but I think it’s just got the standard 64.

Still working on it. Progress is good but slow. Need to add 2 more visitor encounters and a boss, then should be good, so however long it takes me to do all that.

Pretty peak sire. The only whining I have is, that the fishing pond exit takes a while to spawn the exit portal.
Thanks! Glad you like. Fish 3 times to get the exit portal. Many have mentioned this problem. New version will have the sparkles show up after each fish to let players know they need to keep at it. 3 fishing attempts for the pond/peliptor/lake serpent.

Yeah sorry, but there is just too much animation file size for it to work properly. Someday hopefully you can get a PC. You can still get the current version as is for the time being at least (with a broken serpent boss)

btw from what i had seen is that many rooms are loaded as i saw the shift between rooms, not sure if that was a perfect condition thing but i saw it so idk if that might be causing lag and possibly to much memory usage that builds up for the serpent crash

I plan to have the entire zone 2 done which includes probably 6 enemies, 1 boss and at least 3-4 visitors. At that point I’m probably going to do a patreon to allow people early access to the new content (but eventually will be released for free as a public build) Definitely won’t be until next year though.
I was like, wow I thought this game had more than just silence in it, then realized my volume was at 0... nice to see extra burp option added. I can also report I get stuck with no exit portal at the fishing spot. The frost breath seems a little weak for being a close range option as well.
Edit: Or the lake isn't showing you that you have more attempts, the interact wisp is invisible.
Something about how settings are saved might default a new install sfx and music volume to 0. Not sure why, but after you change the setting and apply, it should save it. For fishing just look for the button prompt, you always fish in the same spot near the leftmost part of the lake.
Hey I have just finshed and really enjoyed the game. though I would like to ask about a few bugs
for one when ever I go fishing, either by declining the lake serpents offer or just selecting the space, it does not let me leave no matter what I try.
secondly not really an issue but if you are in the swallowing animation when you are knocked down and then instantly swallowed by a near by enemy, the enemy you are swallowing will be stuck underneath your chin in their knocked out state though you can just tounge it again to stop the glitch
also I am not sure if it's an accident put if you press 0 you move faster and go through walls
regardless you did an amazing job on this, especially all on your own
seems that the serpent boss also isn't showing up for me? I just get a fish and nothing happens on the final square
You need to fish 3 times to get the portal to open, or for the serpent boss to show up. I need to put the sparkle indicator back up for each fishing attempt to let players know to keep it up. Pushing 0 to move fast was a debugging/testing tool that I must have forgot to disable. That swallowing glitch is probably a matter of overlapping stuff happening which I need to disable. Thanks for letting me know about these issues.

Probably not, but not 100% off the table. If it gets added, it will be from visitor encounters from people who get their OC added to the game. That is quite a ways off, however.
if that's the case, might need to talk to you about commissions when the time comes. No rush of course but definitely got my attention now.

I’ve started work on it just graphics & animating so far, one & a half new enemies are done. I want to have a pretty big update fleshed out before releasing it though, all of zone 2 is my hope.

Hey hello! I played the game and I thought it was amazing. The gameplay is very good, the enemy mechanics are very challenging and the perks are very creative and cool.
I played it on my phone, so it had some bugs. But that didn't ruin my enjoyment while playing the game. I'll be happy to follow future updates and wish you success in your hard work on the project. ;)

how to click the final level on Android? im trying to click everything on my screen but it didn't do anything?.
but this still a fun game to play anyway, i like the gameplay mechanic and random visitors scene, but my phone can't handle the huge monster scene, its always crashing and the progress lost
It's okay if there is no longer a phone version, what matters is that you are mentally and physically well so that you can continue working at your own pace and with pleasure :3
Well I beat the game but the game then it went to black screen and crashed :/

Hi, i am an android player, i have attempted to swallow the final boss after i knocked them out twice but it doesnt seem trigger the cutscene, i dont know if thats a hitbox thing or an actual bug.
I’m pretty sure I know the cause. I’ll try to get a fix out tomorrow or so.
I think the fishing part needs fixing it bugs out on me and i cant get past the level and soft locks me in that area.
Did this happen on PC or phone?

It’s probably not locked? The F button prompt doesn’t show up after the first fishing attempt. You’ll need to fish 3 times before the portal will show up and you have to be in the spot where the sparkles first appeared. I probably need to make the sparkles & prompt reappear after each fishing.

the game runs kinda slow but is so fun I love it
Yeah, it’s not really optimized great for phone play and the game probably is poorly optimized overall since I’m an amateur developer with Gdevelop.

Android version seems great, awesome work on it, but wanted to report a bug, I think there is a softlock when beating a boss. When the boss is defeated, all weapons (including tongue) are unusable, so can't nom the boss to complete the stage. Tried walking around it etc. but couldn't trigger anything.
As a side note, is there a way to enable the unlimited lives on the Android version?
These sorts of things were kind of what I was worried about with android port. Boss eating trigger I just must have forgot to add. I will add a way to do unlimited lives too.
Android version (and some fixes for all versions) is out now. It was pretty tricky to do, and I still think the PC version is better, but for those who don’t have a PC it’s an option.
The leviathan doesn't seem to have his nom attack in the gallery of gulps. I thought it was because I didn't defeat him yet but did so and on hard too and I still can't see it. It's just his nom, his prey animation working just fine.
Yeah it’s not in the game yet, I forgot to add it to the gallery. I will fix it in the next update. Until then you can enjoy that animation over here on my FA account.

Quick bug report: a few times now, when I click a dialog bubble to encounter a character near the end of a run (usually one or two before the final boss), the game completely freezes on the hint screen before the encounter. I am wondering if it hangs on a certain encounter being randomly chosen more than once (Like Oenla twice or Tezz twice)? It is particularly in runs where I have many encounters. I expected to run into Peliptor this time as I already met Larwin (at a ? instead of a dialog bubble), Tezz, and Oenla. Maybe it is something about meeting Peliptor with one life left, too.
Okay sorry about that. I’ve run into this bug before, basically its to prevent the same visitor encounter more than once, and if it does it again the game has a fit. I probably didn’t account for double Larwin visits because its the new encounter. I’ll look into fixing. Thanks for letting me know.
