hello could you start developing an android build? gdevelop supports that

Eventually perhaps. It’s a lot harder to test and do stuff on phones since I would have to copy the build over every time to check functionality of the build etc. Hopefully someday I can work on it though.

any word on the next update? it's been a while.

Yes, I’m still working on it. So far enemy digestions & animations are done as well as an internal belly struggle minigame and new fishing minigame. New visitor animation/encounter done also. I’m currently working on a new boss and am still doing animation for it’s defeat. After new bossfight is all done then I’ll release an update. A teaser though, the new boss is a really big sea serpent.

A HYDRA! ahh no, there's already a dragon... maybe leviathan? maybe some deep sea snek? hmmm

Hello it's me again :3 this time I got questions instead of suggestions

1. Why eggs? Were they just easy to draw, just a placeholder you stuck with, have connection to the story like these eggs being laid by your mistress or another powerful creature or some other connection? (probably not)

2. Can enemies reform? I mean our little guy can with a crystal that seems fairly common to be the only restocking item in the shop that's guaranteed to spawn or you can get it from your mistresses just forcing energy into you! so I don't know how hard it would be for something else to do that and having the flame Drake or another boss comeback for revenge 

3. What is our little guy's name? Come on the little guy needs a name we can't just call him "the dragon without all the features that make him a dragon" (seriously he seems more like a kobold than any dragon and breath weapons are not an argument for that when you have to acquire them magically not just have them from birth like a dragon)

4. Why do the Enemies want to eat you? I know the game states that it's because of your mistress's power and we know it makes you taste better but is that why? Or do they get some of that power if they are the one to eat you when you lose the ability to reform? some enemies might not even follow that rule but instead just work for the person that kidnapped Your mistress and are trying to stop you! 

5. the hard mode descriptions says "boss is the same currently" meaning you're probably planning on changing it to a harder boss I would like to know if that's going to be some variation of The Flame Drake (lightning Drake,  bone Drake or great Drake to give you an idea of what I mean) or if it's just gonna be a complete replacement and a completely unrelated boss because there are games that do both. 

6. How much of the game is planned? Do you have a start and are just building it off that, do you have key points down and just filling it in or is the story done and just needs to be made? 

7. Anything we can expect is definitely going to change? you have already mentioned in the comments not liking the fishing mini game

8. How do you swallow? His throat isn't tightening and seems very loose so it's not the normal way of squeezing prey to push them down. I would say he uses gravity and is very stretchy or pulls them down with his tongue (so his tongue is connected in his stomach not his mouth) but he makes gulp sounds... even when something is only going into his mouth-pouch (tezzie and drake) so what is happening inside of him and were sounds come from? 

9. On the subject of that last one what's up with the bottom of his maw? Why is it so stretchy like that it looks off but I can easily accept it if you say something like it being a pouch like a Pelican (or should I say pelkin?) But also why did you hive it to him?

10. And did I just accidentally add lore to the game making you come up with answers to pointless questions? XD

Hi again. Thanks for the interest and questions. Let me see if I can answer them all.

1: My very first animation was the egg swallow I use for my avatar. Since it was my 1st, I thought it would be easier to animate than something else. Story wise, yes they are unfertilized dragon eggs. Hence the powerup. Tezzie can do it because of her connection to the Mistress as they are blood related.

2: Normal enemies probably can’t. but so far 2 visitors have mentioned reforming. Oenla and Peliptor. So it’s definitely not a completely unique power. Having visitors that can reform means they will be more willing to let you eat them so there will be that for sure.

3: I had thought their name would be Traxiss, but probably should come up with something different to differentiate between myself and them. Thier species needs a name too. They are related to dragons and serve them, but I don’t want to use the K name from D&D since that’s copyrighted. I’m open to suggestions if you can think of a good name for the protagonist and their species.

4: I was thinking it’s because they are attempting to gain draconic power for themselves or trying to gain the ability to reform. Ultimately eating you isn’t enough for them to do so but they think they can. I hadn’t really thought much more about it than that. My game is lacking a bit in the story department.

5: Hard mode would probably be just like it has more health, shoots more projectiles or has new attacks etc. More bosses are planned for sure. But that’s a good idea for variations.

6: Hah I don’t really have it planned out. So far I was going to try to do 3 main zones with a final boss at the end of zone 3. Zones 1 & 2 would have different random bosses. Some sort of hub/village area would be nice to have in between runs.

7: I’ve got a struggle minigame done. Basically you get an internal bubble when swallowed and you do a quick time event. The better you do the more shield points you get upon reforming, up to 3. I’m going to use the same QTE game for fishing (once I can get the dang thing coded properly) Other changes? It’s mostly adding stuff that people have suggested, of course I can only do so much and not everything suggested will get in the game.

8: Uh I hadn’t really considered it. My animations are fairly simple and its mostly a matter of layers moving prey in bit by bit and adding more green to cover. You’re probably just reading too much into it and my sound effects not really being exact and stuff. I’ve got someone who is working on doing new music and vore sounds so in the future they should probably sound better.

9: I just like throat pouches like Pelicans and stuff so they’ve got a really stretchy bottom jaw pouch. I’ll probably do more with it later, like storing enemies or objects. If I do more than 3 prey capacity It will be easier to animate prey into pouch, then pouch to belly so I wouldn’t have to animate each enemy getting swallowed to belly size 4 or 5 etc.

10: Yes probably. But it’s good to think about stuff like this. So thanks again for your interest in my silly little gulping game.

After a much needed break from the game, I am back to working on it. Got enemy digestion animations done and a rather large tasty new visitor prey animation done. None of which are actually in the game yet but I’m back at it! Thanks to everyone for patiently waiting for new content and for all your encouragement and great comments. It will still be a while before a new update is ready, but I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m still making progress and I don’t plan on leaving the game unfinished dead in the water.

i have one suggestion : more belly sizes will be awesome vore more than 3 monsters

Possibly in the future. I think utilizing the throat pouch would make the animations easier to do for 4 or more.

So I Have one suggestion Is:Accessories For That Green Small Dragon

Accessories would be really cool. They would probably have to be separate objects animated separately otherwise It would be many nightmares worth of extra animation work. Clothes would probably be too much of a pain, but maybe something like hats, jewelry or tail accessories would be cool. Good suggestion, just don’t know how much work it would take. I’ll keep it in mind though. Thanks.

this game is good but i can't reach the final level because it shows me first 80 (or less) % of game screen, please fix that or atleast add settings where u can choose game window size

I feel as though the fishing mini-game is a bit to difficult, maybe decrease the speed of the moving bar, or maybe increase the area of the green zone, I have failed the fishing mini-game nearly every time, only ever doing it successfully once. I could be just dumb tho.

Yes the fishing minigame is kind of crap. I’m going to (eventually) replace it in the next update with something better.

It isn't that it's difficult it's that it's so fast the hitbox is rendered poorly so but still probably change it to something you can do properly

maybe make it you hold down a button to real in the line but then you hear the line slowly getting more tense so if you just hold it down it snaps when you let go the fish will slowly walk away and the line will quickly stop being so tense so you've just got to find that right balance of letting the fish go and reeling them In

Looking forward to it. What would be fun is if you mess up enough times, there was a random chance that something would attack you instead. Add some risk to it. 

If you hit the button to reel in right on the outside edge of the sweet spot as it is heading towards the sweet spot it will work every time. 

Shockingly good - I wasn't expecting much out of this game, so I was pretty surprised to see how well executed it is. Keep up the good work!

I will eventually, but not for normal enemies. It will be for very large visitors and bosses. I was thinking of doing some sort of bit sea serpent in the fishing areas as an optional boss.

i just want a perk or anything that increase capacity that all. B )

some ideas I have 

1.featuer/regurgitate: you can press z to regurgitate anything in your stomach onto the ground Infront of you as a sort of useless feature or you could get upgrades to make it worth something later on. this also means you can add in some friendly NPCs that let you soft Vore them or whatever. (and hay some people like that stuff and think it's cute to have more friendly vore and have stuff that builds the world more)

2. enemy/parasite: it is small like an insect and very sneaky it tries to dive in the way to get you to eat it and when you do you take constant damage until you can spit it out by spamming z.

3weapon/spew: a strong projectile that instead of using energy you projectile vomit half-digested enemies in your stomach with the bigger more powerful ones doing more damage. 

4.abillity/stomach pet: you can buy a parasite in the store which gives you an all-around boost or you can spit it out and let it shoot enemies alongside you. if it dies you have to eat it before the enemy dose if you do it revives in 20 seconds otherwise it's gone for good

5.featuer: make having a full stomach more punishing like making you slower, doge be less effective, enemies randomly struggle taking away your movement so you need to punch your belly to stop them in a miny game (like fishing) and digesting them is slower but at the same time give more reason to keep a full belly through power ups instead of just being a simple grab and digest so it feels better than just a "add vore on a normal and simple game" and be more unique 

6.enemy/soul starved: they grab and eat your soul leaving your body so you can't escape and reform, but they are weak die quickly, only having a melee attack and move slowly (maybe they could also mess you up by trying to grab you as you reform)

7.enemy/swarm: a large group of flesh-eating bugs they are too hard to hit so you just eat them individually to do damage 

8.location/maze: a bigger location then normal but instead of killing enemies to get to the portal you just need to find it

9.featuer/finding loot: it would be nice to come across a plant to eat or a chest full of money letting the player explore some more

10.featuer/permanent upgrades: so how about you can get a reword for dying or defeating a boss like soul gems witch you can spend on small permeant upgrades like more damage longer tongue less digestion time more starting money an extra max hp or reformation to let players feel like they are making some progress and help get to the end with more than luck. I would say make upgrades then extra perks so you can only have 2 of the big things like max starting hp or hold an extra enemy in your stomach and then upgrade small things like luck or damage multiball times.

11.location/hunger store: here you buy very good and even some exclusive breath weapons or upgrades 2 of them cost money (that's just a normal shop) 2 cost hunger tokens (you can choose feed blood to take damage and get one or feed body to get eaten and reform to get 2 more then all your health lost) and 2 cost sacrifice tokens (you can choose feed life to get eaten then spat out and get 1 at the cost of 1 max hp or choose feed soul to get your spirit eaten then spat back into your body and get 3 at the cost of 1 max reform

12.gamemode/great hunger: its hard mode but you start with no breath weapon, no reforms (at least no max reforms at start), enemies will get up if not eaten and more stages before the boss and maybe a lot less basically you start with nothing + hard mode + some extra challenges

I have a lot of ideas this is just a few but I don't want to overdo it for now and I love the fact there's a vore game out there that's fun and upcoming I hope it goes the best for you please tell me what you think of my ideas and if you want to hear more. (My brain goes too fast @w@)

Wow Ovelton! Quite a lot of ideas you’ve got here. Thanks for all the suggestions! I will see if I can address each of them.

1-3: Currently belly is just a size number of 0-3 Indicating the contents would be possible and allow for these sorts of things to be implemented.

4: Animating enemies eating other things would be a lot of work so probably not worth it for only one power/upgrade, but the idea of a belly buddy is a good one.

5: You actually move slower and have a longer dodge cooldown with belly size already. Maybe making it a little more pronounced, but yes I want to add reasons to play with a full stomach but need to add some sort of risk reward benefit. Maybe reduced cost of breath weapons based on belly size or something.

6: Would that be like instant game over then if you can’t escape? Not sure I see the benefit.

7: Chomp hits multiple targets already which might make a swarm trivial, unless I made them immune to chomp and not to gulp.

8: Since I use a random map maker for the levels, that probably won’t work, There is probably some sort of maze maker but I would need to learn how to do it.

9: Random non enemy loot/food/stuff added in levels is a great idea and shouldn’t be super hard to do.

10: Change from rogue-like to rogue-lite? Possible, but a lot of work to code and implement.

11: Lowering maximum health/reforms would kind of be a pain due to the object used to display them (I already had to make 2 separate objects for the max 4 health/reforms) But not impossible. The store that takes other forms of payment than money is a good idea though.

12: A Super hard mode would be pretty easy to add

I’m still taking a break from working on the game at the moment. But when I get back into it, I will see if I can add at least some stuff you suggested. Thanks again for all your ideas!

I completely understand it's just if you ever played any game where you get a companion people love them to an unhealthy extent, I was just thinking to have one that's more than a brain-dead turret (wisp) and it's a vore game and belly pest are a thing, so it all adds up! that's all I was thinking. 

5. yeah if I suggest it with it in the game it definitely isn't enough to be noticeable or even make a difference 

6. it would just be like a repty but very slow and can be killed in 1 or 2 hits. it's an instant game over if they get you but they are extremely weak, so they are more of a side thing to note and ruin a run very rarely if you somehow die with nothing else to eat you first then an actual threat. but something to chase and attack you in wisp form is a good idea if you want to mess up the player end game.

7. (I actually have a sona like this and I had no idea about it lmao talk about unconscious references XD) but no they are considered 1 entity but by design they are meant to be a pile of bugs very agile and maneuverable, so they are immune to normal attacks but you can pick up a bunch of them with your tongue (because you have more control over it as part of your body then a loose fireball) so you damage it by hitting it with your tongue instead of weapons

11. it still works if you ignore the last part (loosening max stats) as a shop with a bat owner that lets you trade your blood(hp) or just give up your whole body(reform) instead of cash 

and for your final part I know I read it in your thing, but I can still give ideas because it's just a brake not abandoning it.... right? (my god there are so many things where the "brake" is 8 years long and it was good enough everyone wanted a finished copy but will never get it)

Bug report: In the practice room, after hitting the reset button, you will lose lives and can game over.

Awesome. I am certainly glad to hear it. One idea I had was for a shooting gallery type of thing. Basically, another "visitor" challenges you to a fight to see how many enemies you can defeat in a time limit. Winner eats the loser. Something along that line. 

Hey that’s a great idea! I probably wouldn’t script an entire ai visitor fighting as that would be a ton of work, but doing some sort of a challenge with a reward of eating the visitor and losing being eaten is an awesome concept. I’ll see about doing something like that for one of the new visitors.

Do you intend to create a mobile version?

The engine I use (GDevelop) can export to mobile. I don’t know what all would be involved in getting it ready to do so. I hadn’t planned on it initially but there is a possibility that I might some time later.

can you add a loop-like style so that after you beat the boss you go back to the start but with harder enemies but you get a powerful perk like a time radius(you can name it)  that slows down enemies and their projectiles in the radius but not you or your projectiles 

Like a new game plus style of thing? Thats a great idea. Once I get more stuff fleshed out I can possibly work on adding something like that. Thanks for the suggestion!

That probably wouldn’t be too hard to do. It would kind of make the map selection a bit pointless, but a pure random mode sounds a little chaotic but could be fun.

Bugreport: Dont know why this happens but died twice diúe to a group of enemies spawning right beside and around me. Happened at a Elite and a normal random map

Oof, sorry about that. Previously there was a bug which caused enemies to spawn outside of the map locking progress. I solved that by teleporting them to random locations in the area, but didn’t make sure to move them away from the player. I’ll see if I can fix that in the next version. Thanks for letting me know.

Always great to see a vore game that's actually a unique game with fun mechanics, and you should probably add the "vore" tag here so more people can find it, can't wait to see more from you, whether it's updates or other games.

What a fun glitch(i was at the f*king boss)

Also if you alt + tab, the text softlocks without any way to remove it, you can only restart the game. This happens also with other things,

Oh crud, sorry about your boss glitch. The character is scripted to move to a certain spot below and left of the boss to set up for the animation. I’ll fix this glitch in the next update but for now make sure you’re below and left of the boss when you right click and it should work fine.

As for alt tab bugs, I never tried alt tabbing out of my game and back into it before. So I’ll take a look and see if I can fix those issues. Thanks for letting me know about them.

Game overs for getting eaten by visitors with no reformations sounds really fun!

Since it’s been suggested by a few people. I’ll get that put in the game eventually at some point.

I'm liking the game so far but I'm also biased towards rogue-likes.  If I were to make a suggestion, it would be to remember that rogue-likes work best when they have synergies and disadvantages. 

For instance, an upgrade to fire breath that sets enemies on fire could  synergize with poison breath to create an explosive effect. Or maybe add throwable vial of oil that makes eating enemies faster, but ignites when set on fire. Either way, the player could ignite themselves via enemy explosion or from contact with an inflamed enemy. But this is just a suggestion, you don't have to take it seriously. 

I also ran into a bug that soft-locked the game.

Bug in 0.51: I'm stuck in an infinite floating animation. This occurred after beating a elite enemy room and picking a max health upgrade from Span. I think I left while the  animation was still playing because I went to the next room (egg room) and a second upgrade menu appeared. I was still in the floating animation and selecting another upgrade didn't close the did nothing. The game seemed to be stuck in a loop as it did accept my second selection, but didn't move from there.

I think probably what happened is you got past the level 10 max, which causes an infinite level up glitch. I’ve fixed this and set the level cap to 11 (for now) I will have that and many more bug fixes in the next patch coming out soon!

I like the fact that this looks like a really cool game (with actual animation and gameplay) which is still made on a no code game engine (now if only more vore video game designers would look into this) I haven't managed to get to the regular game because it lags to much, so from what I've gathered can you please add a way to control quality (I used reduce particles to help but it only worked a little bit)

I will try again later to see if I can get it to work

Also can you add human prey (if there isn't any)

Sorry about that. I need to do some optimizing. And maybe a way to completely remove particles (or excess out of bounds stuff) To increase performance on older/slower PC’s It will be a bit before I get to that but its on my list of stuff to work on!

The bug is completely destroying the game with its shaky aim and sluggish movement...the mouse aim keeps flipping momentarily, and the main character is forever shaking his head. I think sluggishness comes with it.

Oh I’m sorry to hear that. I haven’t experienced any such thing during testing or development. Do you have an older computer? Try turning on Reduce Particles in the settings if you haven’t already. That should help with performance.

I'm always happy to see a vore game

I guess one of the biggest bugs I notice are multiple actions happening at once soft locking the character, and monsters getting stuck on walls. Sometimes the second area doesn't want to load which is also kinda weird.

Yes it’s a bit of a buggy mess right now, which is the next thing I’m going to be working on is a bunch of bug fixes. Probably going to take a while though.

Take your time, I'd say it's worth the wait just don't burn yourself out.

is there a way to get through without digesting anybody, and just getting to the end with a large belly of trapped prey?

this is fun either way. (I like endo stuff, but I do enjoy gurgly things also. ^^)

No unfortunately. Increasing more belly size means more animation work which is potentially a thing I could do in the future. Glad you’re enjoying the game!

Looks like a pretty interesting thing- rough in a lot of spots; attempting to click and rush the dialogue on the intro completely broke it for me like 5 times in a row, and I'm assuming the difficulty will be ironed out later; currently there are way too many enemies that are way too durable firing off too many projectiles for it to be remotely fair. Probably either tone down the enemies or make the projectiles slower moving so it's more about figuring where the safe spots to be and where to dodge are.


One thing I'd HOPE to see, is for the kobold (I'm assuming it's a kobold) to have a bit more personality. He's kinda flat at the moment, responding pretty plainly and seeming to solely be thinking about his mistress. It'd be neat to see him acting a bit more excitable and goofier, real eager to be eating things- like, for example, in the bit with the deer, if the importance of what they're telling him is just going over his head and he's like "Mhm... so what I'm hearing is, I get to eat a real tasty looking creature!!" or something like that. Of course, that's also some personal preference talking...

Thanks for your suggestions! Yes difficulty spike at the start is too hard and I will fix it as others have suggested too. Dialogue clicks are kind of wonky right now, you need to wait until they are done and for the arrow to pop up before clicking and it should work. (I need to add a speed up or skip text option) As for the protagonist personality, I hadn’t thought about that, but you’ve got some good feedback I’ll look into implementing thanks!

This game is really nice! I'm excited to see what you'll add.

Here's some bugs I found so far:
-Sometimes, enemies will spawn outside the playable area.
-After eating a fish, pausing the game and clicking continue will result in you catching another fish. This can be done infinitely for infinite experience, health, and food.
-If you have more than 3 health when caught by a brute, you remain uneaten and can still move around and attack, but you're invisible.
-You can choose to be eaten by Tezzie or Peliptor when you have no reforms left to get whatever they're offering for free.
-Eating Oenla when you already have some of their boons results in some weird stuff happening. The boon selections are invisible and might display rapidly-shifting text.
-Whenever there's an upcoming choice from a visitor, the buttons can be pressed before they turn visible. Pressing both usually results in something weird happening.

Someone else showed me the over 3 health t rex bug too

No reforms to use on the 2 gulping visitors DOH! I should have known about that one. I’ll just make it so it forces you to do the non eaten option.

Oenla fix could be she doesn’t show up if you have any of those 3 perks but I’ll look into fixing

I didn’t know you could push the buttons early. I’ll look into that.
